The STARWorks internships provide high school girls with the opportunity to get an introduction to the real world of work in a corporate, professional firm or organization setting. The SuperSTARS Leadership Academy prepares participants for their STARWorks internships by focusing on particular work place skills including: "Dress for success", office etiquette, phone skills, computer skills, filing, office equipment use, project participation, and interviewing skills.

STARWorks Mentors provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for PowerPlay's SuperSTARS participants, helping them to:

• Develop the confidence to "dream big" and aspire to a successful career,
• Practice the workplace skills that they have learned during the Summer Academy,
• Become aware of the importance of educations, discipline and hard works as the building blocks for success
