“Even though I am not a very sporty person, PowerPlay was still a great program with lot of opportunities, inside and outside of sports. PowerPlay gave me just the right amount of push to try a sport without feeling alone in the experience, because there was always another person in the same position as me. Those people who made it through those unfamiliar experiences with me remained my friends well after the summer program. PowerPlay helped me open my mind to taking advantage of opportunities offered to me. They also taught me that it is usually the opportunities that you’ve never experienced that make the biggest impact.”
