Hey everyone! My name is Kim Rodriguez and I am an SSLA ’14 alumni! SSLA ’14 was a BLAST! We went on different trips ( including Yankee Stadium, MetLife Stadium, and Washington D.C!), learned about healthy living, and got an insight into the college application process. All of this while trying out different sports like basketball, boxing, dance, soccer, and yoga! This year, I am so excited to be back with SSLA as an intern! Today, half of the girls went to the park to play soccer, while the other half of the girls had some basketball fun in the gym. After that, they get to learn a little bit about the college application process. During SSLA this year, I plan to connect with the girls and help them in any way that I can. I’m excited to bond, connect, and hang out with this year’s SSLAers during the overnight trip this weekend!
