Malaika Lambert
We are thrilled to welcome the newest member of our team, Malaika Lambert. Malaika is a youth sports professional that has an extensive background in youth and community development. Malaika holds a master’s degree in Sports Management from Brooklyn College. She enjoys inspiring youth and adults to be physically active through sports and is currently the lead coach and co-founder for the Brooklyn Lightning Track & Field Club in Coney Island. She has a passion for the sport of Track and Field and truly enjoys introducing youth to the sport. Prior to working at PowerPlay NYC, Malaika played a key role in developing youth and community athletic programs within New York Road Runners and Harlem Children’s Zone. Outside of work, Malaika is an avid artist, loves to run, and enjoys traveling. We’re so excited to see how she succeeds with PowerPlay and on behalf of our girls.
