Speed-Networking event

As part of our Leadership Academy (SSLA) for high school girls, each month PowerPlay offers monthly workshops with opportunities for our SSLAers to build on skills learned over the summer intensive, meet professionals from a range of industries, build their networks and socialize with friends. Last Thursday night, PowerPlay held a “speed-networking event,” with 15 SSLAers and 25 female professionals. SSLAers got the opportunity to interview/network with 1-2 professionals at a time, gaining valuable networking experience. They also met wonderful role models and created contacts for future internship, mentorship and job opportunities! Thanks to State Street Bank and Trust Company for hosting!! ‪#‎SSLA2015‬
