Youth Coach Mentor Spotlight: Coach Lea

PowerPlay’s Youth Mentor program kicked off at the end of January and it’s been in full swing ever since. Coach Lea is a junior at Brooklyn College Academy who enjoys playing basketball. She helps coach second graders every Monday at PS 335 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. These girls have really latched onto Lea already and they look up to her so much. She is very patient and comfortable taking charge. We are lucky to have great role models such as Lea coming into our STARS Series sites every week as Youth Mentors.
