Incredibly grateful to our friends at (USTA) United States Tennis Association for inviting some of our girls to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center for an incredible day of tennis. Students from our partner site – PS48Q had an unforgettable experience walking the halls and touring the historic facility. The highlight of the day was playing tennis on the Arthur Ashe Tennis courts 🤯, the very court in which the likes of Serena Williams, Venus Williams and so many tennis greats have competed on US Open Championships.
We extend gratitude to all of the USTA employee volunteers who welcomed our girls and shared valuable time, stories, and knowledge with them. We even got to meet Stacey Allaster – the first women US Open Tournament Director – talk about #girlpower. Thank you all for empowering and inspiring our girls to aim high and chase their dreams!
