BSE Give Back Day

Our friends at BSE (owners of the BK Nets and the NY Liberty) elected to partner with PowerPlay for their Annual BSE Give Back Day. Fifteen employee volunteers joined students from our MS 577 partner site for a day of female empowerment. Participants were provided a prompt, ‘What does female empowerment/ girl power mean to you?’ and shared their responses within their small groups. They were then tasked with drawing/painting their responses on canvas, which were later hung in the school’s auditorium as a reminder that ‘Girls are Strong!’.

To finish off the day, participants engaged in an intense game of kickball. Fun was had by all! Huge THANK YOU to BSE, the NY Liberty and BK Nets for your on-going support of PowerPlay.
