On July 13th, 2020, STARS CGI launched third edition of its #SelfCareSaturday Series entitled – #SelfCareSaturday Series:Reflect & Recharge. Our Reflect & Recharge event served to amplify the voices of our young people, many of whom are women of color. As the world fights for justice and to eliminate systematic racism, we found it necessary to ensure that our young people had a seat at the table in these very important conversations. Those fortunate enough to attend this amazing event, learned of various ways that one can protest and amplify their voices. In the process, they also learned of ways to practice self care while advocating for equal rights.
Attendees were treated to some truly empowering speakers, that lead breakout sessions on the following topics:
